Description

Gaia the main habitable planet in the star system Torrin was heavily populated and had made the transition to a world government. The inhabitants had developed space flight and had several other colonies and outposts within that system.

With the development of the slipstream drive they quickly discovered two straits to two uninhabited star systems and set up colonies there.

Around the time those colonies were firmly established, a third strait point in Torrin system was found to Cyron, an inhabited system with a highly developed technology, including being able to exploit the resources in their system, but had not yet discovered the slipstream drive.
